Your hosted address and connecting a custom domain

Before you start

• Studio or Private Office; Presence publishes on the hosted address only
• Access to your domain's DNS settings

Steps

1. Open Website, then Domain, and add your domain.
2. Add the DNS records shown: a CNAME for a subdomain, or the records your provider supports for an apex.
3. Verify; a certificate is issued automatically once the records resolve.
4. Set the domain as primary when it is Active; the hosted address then redirects to it.

Expected result

Your domain shows Active and serves your site with a valid certificate.

If something goes wrong

Pending DNS or Error states name the missing record; mail records are never touched.
