Sending a test inquiry

Verify the whole path from your website's form to an assigned lead and a reply from your own mailbox.

Before you start

  • A connected mailbox on Studio and Private Office, or a notification address on Presence
  • A default owner and fallback set

Steps

  1. Open your site's inquiry page and submit a test marked as such.
  2. Confirm the lead appears once in Leads with the correct owner and source.
  3. On Studio and Private Office, reply from the conversation and check delivery shows Sent; on Presence, confirm the notification email arrived.
  4. Mark the test lead as a test so it never enters reports.

Expected result

One lead, one owner, and a real delivery state for the reply or the notification.

If something goes wrong

A failed acknowledgment does not lose the lead; reconnect the mailbox and retry the reply.
